Spring Development Program
Welcome to the 2026 Spring Development Program. This program focuses on player development, with all practices held at Arctic Ice Arena. It is open to current freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as incoming freshmen (current 8th graders) who will be attending high school in fall 2026.

Practices
The program will run from April 7 - May 28, 2026.
Practices will be held on Tuesday's & Thursday's from 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
Please note there will be no ice on April 23

Take advantage of the spring to elevate your game with the Saints Hockey Spring Development Program. This program is designed for players looking to sharpen their skills, improve their hockey IQ, and continue developing in a competitive and positive environment.
Open to All Players
Players from all clubs and skill levels are welcome, including incoming freshmen and athletes looking to develop their game during the offseason.
Skaters and goalies alike will benefit from focused instruction and high-tempo training sessions.
Program Features
Highly Qualified Coaching Staff
Sessions are led by experienced and knowledgeable coaches dedicated to teaching proper techniques, building confidence, and helping players reach their full potential.
Dynamic Drills & Skill Development
Practices include high-energy drills and small-area competitions designed to improve speed, reaction time, and overall on-ice performance.
Fundamental Skill Reinforcement
Players will focus on strengthening the core skills that every successful hockey player needs, including skating mechanics, passing, shooting, and positioning.
Puck Control & Stickhandling
Athletes will develop better puck possession, hands in tight spaces, and improved decision-making under pressure.
Edge Work & Skating Development
Skating sessions will emphasize edge control, agility, balance, and explosive power, helping players move more efficiently and confidently on the ice.
Transition & Game Situational Drills
Players will work through fast-paced transition drills and game-like scenarios that build awareness and improve the ability to shift quickly between offense and defense.
Goalie-Specific Coaching
Dedicated instruction for goalies focusing on positioning, crease movement, rebound control, tracking the puck, and game-situation training.
